The fire truck and firefighters came to visit. We tried on the fire fighter jacket and hat, sat in the fire truck and listened to the siren, and used the hose to put out a pretend fire. It was lots of fun. Thank you for visiting.

We had a visit from Mr. Walley. He played his didgeridoo and told us about the noises different animals make. We pretended to be lots of different animals and enjoyed the music he played. Thank you Mr. Walley.

The ambulance came to visit. We learnt about Danger and how to call 000 in an emergency. We got to lay on the gurney and sit in the ambulance. We heard the sound the siren makes. Thank you for visiting.

We had a visit from the dentists at Glencoe Dental Studios. They showed us how to brush and floss our teeth properly and taught us a tooth brushing song. Thank you to Debbie and the team.

We were lucky enough to spend some time with some important members of the community; our local rubbish men. They came in the blue rubbish truck and showed us how they pick up the green bin and tip it into the truck. It was very exciting to watch and then we got to sit in the drivers seat; there were two steering wheels! Thanks for visiting us at Jack and Jill!

A Special Visitor
We had a very special visitor for the day; Henry the lamb. All the children helped to care for Henry by feeding him his bottle. They also gave him plenty of love. Thank you to Maggie and her Mum for letting Henry stay with us for the day!

Incursion
We had morning tea and a visit from two members of our local Police team. They showed us the police car and talked to us about bike safety, and helped us to know that the Police are here to look out for us. Thank you for visiting.
